Nook Knowledge
I love this tree - it is one of my favourites especially in spring when the leaves turn vibrant shades of red, orange & yellow. It is hardy in the wind & will tolerate poor soils in fact it does better in well drained soils making it very suitable for most of Central Otago. The berries are supposed to be very good for you - antioxidants, protein etc but I haven't tried them myself.
